Sometimes your health insurance company may require you to submit a prior authorization (PA) form to process your medication(s) through insurance. This is to get confirmation from your health insurance that your treatment plan is medically necessary. You can submit the request with your provider or via our customer support team. Then, our care coordination team will handle your PA request from your insurance company for you.

Please note that when we submit your prior authorization request this does not guarantee that your health insurance company will cover the cost of your medication(s). If your PA request is denied, you may need to pay out-of-pocket or work with your provider to find alternative medication(s) that are covered by your insurance. We encourage you to call your insurance before your appointment to confirm the list of covered medications. Please note that the prior authorization process is can take up to 10 business days and is heavily dependent on how timely your health insurance responds.
